The Miracle of Life
I now understand why they call it that. In just five weeks, the small person in my guts has gone from this:
8 weeks

to this:
13 weeks

It's mind blowing! And, also gives me a concrete reason to continue to choke down food, despite the fact that I'm still feeling nauseous at 13 weeks and 1 day pregnant. The little one is worth it.

I can't see the pics. Congrats!! When is your due date?
I fixed the photo link. Due around November 4. :)
That is a fantastic ultrasound pic! I never get such clear leg views.
Choke it down, Mommy, and I'll pretend I totally didn't wash down a Big Mac and fries with a Coke today.
Please, please feel better soon! You're making me feel guilty for making the second trimester sound good.
Now I see. Your due date is a little bit before JB's birthday. At least you won't be huge over the hot summer months - that's a plus to having a winter baby. :-)
oh, so happy for you. it truly is a miracle. hope the nausea passes quickly...have you tried ginger chews? that is the only thing that worked for me when i was preggers with gracie.
Wow---that is so cool to see the comparison. AMAZING. You are doing a terrific job growing a person, chica. Hope the nausea subsides, soon.
Are you planning on finding out the gender before the birth? That's a fun ultrasound to look forward to, if you are.
Kori, we are planning to find out. We're really looking forward to it! Thanks for the kudos! :)
Congratulations. Amazing how "worth it" it all is. Congratulations.
