That was a big one! Biggest one I've experienced in the Bay Area, anyway.

Oh yes! I should have said that. We just stood in a doorway staring at one another with wide eyes until it subsided. And the red wine we had been drinking didn't even spill on the carpet.
You're better than me - I sat there on the couch wondering what the hell was going on. It was very strong where we are. I also was worried about any damage to our house. At least none of my things broke this time. Way to focus on the important stuff. LOL
Incidentally, the quake I experience in Seattle was similar in strength. I was working at a school and heard this awful noise and felt the building shake. Then, I thought to myself, "why would they shake the building for an earthquake drill?". Jeez!
