The Muppet Show

Some of my fondest memories are of The Muppet Show. As a child, when I would watch it, I was surrounded by those who loved me. I felt safe and secure. The Muppets made me laugh, but they also made me think. I really felt as if we understood one another. I wanted nothing more than to go live wherever the Muppets were located and spend all of my time with them. You know, laughing, talking, playing pool.

I now realize that, as an adult, I'm still looking for that Muppet Show feeling. Amazing how some things stick with you.

Aww... Beaker is soo cute. :-)

I, too, have fond memories of the Muppet Show - even the two crabby guys in the balcony. That show taught me important lessons, like the fact that there really could be "Pigs in Space". :-P

I am a muppet. I think you might be one too. The only way to know for sure is to have someone videotape you dancing; see whether your shoulders go one way while your head goes the other, over and over, with no apparent dizziness, loss of joy or major change in expression.

If the answer comes back "no," down't sweat it. They used to let non-muppets on the show too.

The explanation that I am a muppet was a favorite one among my co-workers at one theater. Apparently, my behaviors made no sense until that was discovered.
